Immigrant Student Success: Models and Tools for K-12 and Adult Educators, a free online workshop, is for educators seeking to encourage the progress of their immigrant students for the benefit of the entire classroom. Through interactive webinars and live exercises with experts, participants will learn about asset-based models and techniques for capitalizing on classroom diversity. They will be guided through activities and lesson planning that can bring out the best in both immigrant and U.S.-born students. Participants will also learn ways to talk about current immigration issues with their students. Through live chat and group exercises, participants will share and test their ideas with other educators from around the country.
